**Job Description:**

Aps 5 Administration Officer is accountable for performing complex procedural and administrative work within an integrated workforce. They must have a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Responsibilities include organizing workflow, making decisions within defined parameters, and seeking guidance when required. The Aps 5 Administration Officer will also be responsible for sharing information, monitoring work practices, setting work priorities, and developing local procedures.

Additionally, they may provide coaching and on-the-job training for newer and less experienced team members.

**About Our Team:**

The Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment and Commercial Auxiliary Systems Program Office (AORCASPO) is part of the Major Surface Ships Branch (MSS) within Maritime Sustainment Division (MSD). We are a dynamic workforce that includes Australian Defence Force personnel, Australian Public Servants, and Defence Industry Partners.

We sustain a range of maritime capability, from new replenishment oilers (AORs) to auxiliary commercial vessels. Our vessels carry fuel, dry cargo, water, food, ammunition, equipment, and spare parts in operational support for deployed naval or combat forces.

In addition to replenishment, our ships can be used for environmental pollution at sea, logistics support for armed forces, and humanitarian operations and relief operations following natural disasters.

As an Aps 5 Administration Officer, you will be a key member of our team, working closely with others to achieve shared goals.
