Job Opportunity in Gas Fitting

This 4-year apprenticeship program offers a unique chance to learn and develop skills in the energy infrastructure industry. As a gas fitting apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, completing a nationally recognized trade qualification in plumbing and gas fitting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Attend public reported gas leaks with a first responder team
  • Investigate and rectify gas leak incidents using provided equipment
  • Classify gas leaks according to a standardized management plan
  • Re-light appliances for end-users as part of your duties
  • Pinpoint probable sources of gas leaks using specialized tools
  • Drive vehicles safely and efficiently with or without trailers
  • Deliver, install, and remove CNG bottles when required
  • Assist in developing and reviewing company procedures and projects
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Able to commence or continue career in January 2026
  • Willingsness to ask questions, work hard, listen, and learn from mistakes
  • Enjoy working outdoors and getting hands dirty
  • Able to listen carefully, follow directions, and ensure safety for self, team, assets, and environment
  • Licensed to drive a motor vehicle
  • Dedicated to learning and developing skills
