Job Description:

The Athletic Trainer plays a pivotal role in the school's athletic team, responsible for providing medical care and support to student-athletes.

As an Athletic Trainer, you will work closely with coaches, trainers, and other school personnel to ensure the health and safety of our student-athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and support to student-athletes during practices and games
  • Conduct pre-participation physical exams and provide clearance for students to participate in sports
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs
  • Assist with training room operations and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Valid Florida Educators' Professional, Temporary or Career & Technical Education Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Two years of occupational experience
Certifications/LICENSES/TRAINING (REQUIRED):
  • Current certification through NATA and BOC
  • Hold or be eligible for a valid Athletic Trainer license issued by the Florida Board of Athletic Training
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Valid Florida Driver's license
