**About the Service**_ _

ECTARC Smith Street is centrally located in Wollongong’s CBD, close to local schools, with easy access to the freeway, train station and buses, providing convenience for families travelling to work. Situated directly behind the old peach coloured Surf Life Saving building, we provide some off-road parking. ECTARC Smith Street is a 40-place service for children from birth to school age.

**About the Role**

ECTARC Smith Street is seeking an educator with a** Certificate III qualification** to work as part of a passionate and capable team who are committed to enriching the futures of young children. As an Early Childhood Worker, you will support educators to implement the program for children from 0 to 5 years.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must have Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- A Working with Children Check clearance number (or willing to obtain)
- Commitment to working as a team
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of current early childhood theories and practice & children’s services legislation
- 12 months experience working in children’s services
- Current First Aid Certificate
