About the Role:
As a Clinical Governance Specialist with Bolton Clarke, you will lead the way in ensuring our aged care services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will work closely with our operational management and leadership teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance resident outcomes and documentation quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Plans for Continuous Improvement (PCI) with the Operations team to sustain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) standards.
- Conduct internal audits (on-site and remote) based on risk assessments, ensuring coverage of ACQSC and NDIS standards.
- Collaborate, coach, and support Homes to achieve and maintain compliance, identifying gaps and providing feedback to enhance understanding and operations.
- Support accreditation preparation for ACQSC and NDIS, providing remote or on-site assistance as required.
- Actively identify improvement opportunities, coaching clinical leaders to enhance resident outcomes and documentation quality.
Requirements:
- Currrent APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 4 years of experience.
- Proven expertise in clinical governance and quality compliance.
- Strong leadership with emotional intelligence to influence effectively.
- Skilled in report writing, communication, and clinical information systems.
- Proficient in analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder demands.
- Comprehensive understanding of aged care legislation, standards, and quality improvement guidelines.
