Job Overview

The role of Senior Project Manager entails overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery;
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve shared goals;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards;
  • Develop and manage project budgets forecasts and financial reports;
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of technical specialists and project teams;
  • Collaborate with clients stakeholders and project teams to develop and deliver project plans and schedules;

About You:

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Project Manager who has a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time within budget and to the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification in civil engineering or a related field preferably with experience in project management and leadership roles;
  • Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects including conceptual development feasibility studies detailed design construction commissioning and handover;
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams build trust and credibility with stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data identify patterns and trends and develop strategic solutions;
  • Experience with project management software tools and methodologies such as Primavera P6 MS Project and Agile Scrum;
  • Hold current membership and certification with relevant professional bodies such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
