Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Gunnedah branch. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the cleaning and inspection tasks of equipment at the branch. This includes some minor repairs and adjustments and the use of test instruments. In addition, you will support our workshop mechanics and electricians to enable them to focus on equipment repairs and more complex tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform loading and unloading, including spotting and general yard duties to maintain the yard to a high standard.
• Check and control equipment (inbound & outbound) as it comes in and out of the yard, inclusive of the spotting function.
• Perform basic inspection checks and minor repairs of equipment at the branch, including EWP's (Booms and Scissor Lifts), Excavators, Light Towers, and small equipment.
• Assist in keeping the workshop, yard, and service area clean, tidy, and safe.
Requirements
This role is perfect for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys fixing equipment, and has a trade qualification in their career plans. As well as having amazing customer service skills and a Can-Do, flexible attitude, you will have:
• Current driver's license is essential, and a forklift high-risk license will be highly regarded.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, time management, and organisational skills.
• Be physically fit and knowledgeable about safety standards.
• Mechanical equipment knowledge is desirable.
• Familiarisation with Take 5's and JSEA's.
