The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of engineers to deliver cutting-edge Large Language Model (LLM) applications. This includes designing, rolling out, and optimizing our LLM Proxy, ensuring safe, observable, and cost-efficient access to multiple foundation models.

As an Engineering Manager, you will partner with existing ML/AI leadership to continually improve software delivery and service reliability. You will collaborate with applied ML, product, and infrastructure teams to align platform investments with AI roadmap priorities.

A strong engineering culture is paramount in this role, where you will foster a team environment that emphasizes mentorship, inclusion, and technical excellence.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams in the ML/AI or infrastructure space. A deep understanding of LLM systems, GenAI applications, or ML/AI platform components such as vector databases, serving layers, and orchestration tools is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience owning the full lifecycle of ML/AI platform components – from early design to production deployment. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams and partners are also required.
