Rural Generalist Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity for an Early Career Occupational Therapist to join our Rural Generalist Program. This program provides new graduates with diverse clinical experience while living and working in rural communities.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to rotate across different teams and clinical areas, gaining exceptional experience and building upon your knowledge and skills. You will work in various settings, from acute hospital care to community and outreach services, developing into a true generalist with sought-after clinical skills.

Program Structure and Support

  • We offer regular clinical supervision and mentoring opportunities to support your professional development.
  • Dedicated time for professional development, including monthly journal clubs and multidisciplinary education sessions.
  • Encouragement of creativity and continuous improvement, with each participant implementing a Quality Improvement Project with support from Senior staff.
  • Support to complete further study in rural generalist practice through external courses.

About Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients in various settings. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
