Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Financial Analyst to join our team in Oceania. As a key member, you will provide commercial sales teams with financial metrics and analysis to support growth decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating creation of annual plans and rolling forecasts.
  • Designing and monitoring rebate and promotional plans.
  • Preparing and distributing periodic commercial reports covering sales orders versus plans.
  • Monitoring on-going sales outlook on a monthly, quarterly & annual view.
  • Reviewing month end P&Ls with Regional and Country Managers.
  • Assisting in building P&Ls needed to analyze new products.
  • Working directly with Sales and Marketing teams on a regular basis and offering value add.
  • Providing month end evaluation of promotional programs and required accruals.
  • Preparing variance analysis and determining causality between business inputs and end results.
  • Providing variance commentary for inclusion in the consolidated financial presentations.
  • Investigating questionable results or data that is out-of-phase or incongruous versus other results to determine and understand the root cause of the issue.
  • Participating in management meetings and providing analysis and commentary to resolve issues and support business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should also have experience working with financial metrics and analysis software.
