Business Development Manager Role

This is a pivotal position with a leading supplier to Civil Construction, Mining, Utilities & Infrastructure. You will play a key part in driving sales across Western Australia by leveraging warm leads while identifying, engaging and qualifying new opportunities on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive WA growth: Utilize existing relationships to expand sales across Western Australia by identifying and qualifying new opportunities on site.
  • Grow key accounts: Deepen partnerships with major Contractors, increasing share of wallet by introducing and/or broadening product range and volume.
  • Be on site, in market: This is a high-touch, face-to-face role. You will spend most of your week on site at major projects, asking sharp questions, building the right relationships and finding practical ways to make life easier for site teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven BDM success: A strong track record of delivering profitable growth through opening doors and expanding business. Experience may come from Mining/Construction or broader Industrial sales, with a clear focus on new business generation.
  • Hunter mindset: You have a natural ability to create opportunities and excel at driving results more than maintaining them.
  • Commercial acumen: Credible, team-oriented and entrepreneurial — you inspire confidence without ego.
  • Resilience and follow-through: Self-belief, composure and a reputation for doing what you say you'll do.
  • Action orientation: A humble, persistent executor who puts in the legwork to drive sales forward.
