Job Title: Project Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our foundation team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting soil data for our future Australian offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scope, procure, and follow up geophysical and geotechnical site investigations
  • Build ground models and advise on site characterization strategy and site layout
  • Provide expertise on geophysical and seismic soil investigation techniques and interpretation of collected data
  • Review and create Employer Requirements for non-destructive soil survey techniques
  • Participate in supplier selection process and survey follow-up
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering, marine geology, applied geophysics, or a related discipline
  • Strong background in marine geophysics and 3+ years of experience in offshore wind
  • 5+ years of experience with geo-surveys and knowledge of GIS software (QGIS)
  • Affinity with geotechnical engineering and foundation design is a plus
