A Day in the Life as a Project Developer

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, schedules, and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Lead technical coordination to ensure high-voltage infrastructure designs meet regulatory and operational standards.
  • Manage multiple projects, balancing priorities to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Engage with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) with relevant industry experience preferred. Candidates with an Engineering degree and experience in design or infrastructure construction in the power industry will be considered.
  • Proven experience in transmission line and substation projects (development, cost estimation, project management, or design).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
