Lead Specialist in Tax Dispute Resolution\

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our tax controversy team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, international tax, and tax law, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

About the Role\
  • Advise clients on complex tax issues, including ATO audits, objections, and litigation.
  • Develop advocacy skills by working with clients to prepare for and resolve risk reviews, audits, and disputes.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver timely and quality results.
\Requirements\
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in an advisory or Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple and concurrent complex projects, often through strong collaboration with cross-divisional/subject-matter specialists.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to establish and sustain effective senior-level management and board client relationships.
  • Able to enable career progression for high-potential people by identifying development needs and providing guidance and knowledge to assist those people to further increase their skill set.
