Nurse Educator in Perioperative Setting

As a Perioperative Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in developing education programs that directly influence patient care.
- Promote evidence-based practices and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the quality of clinical education.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design, implement, and evaluate high-quality education programs.
- Develop learning packages and competencies for perioperative units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver adult-learning-based clinical education and reflective practice.
- Provide mentorship and support for new staff members.
- Lead staff development within the perioperative team.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualifications in education or relevant clinical area (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively teach, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience in a perioperative setting (Theatre, PACU, or Anaesthetics).
