Job Description

Exclaim IT is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation of our payroll system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire implementation process, from planning to go-live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management
    • Collaborate with and manage the relationship with the selected implementation partner.
    • Ensure clear communication and manage expectations with the vendor throughout the project.
    • Oversee the vendor's deliverables and hold them accountable for meeting project timelines and budgets.
  • End-to-End Implementation
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
    • Develop a comprehensive project plan utilizing proven methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for the entire implementation lifecycle.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Ensure clear communication and manage expectations across all project stakeholders, including the vendor team.
    • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and the vendor to ensure a smooth implementation process.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Payroll Implementation Specialist with a successful track record of delivering complex IT implementation projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems and appropriate award knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Vendor management experience: demonstrated ability to effectively manage and collaborate with vendors throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Experience with end-to-end payroll implementations: prior experience leading complex system implementations from planning to go-live.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
