Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Delivery Operations Specialist. This role will involve delivering goods to customers across the Bundaberg region, utilizing various modes of transportation.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 5AM to 1PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing vehicle load sheets, securing loads, preparing manifests, and assisting with loading when required. Deliveries will be made to customers across the region, and the successful candidate will capture pictures of items delivered to verify receipt.

In addition to delivery duties, this role will involve maintaining vehicles and driver logs, liaising with dispatch and customers on delivery issues, and keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained. Strict adherence to our critical safety rules is paramount, and we expect all employees to contribute to a safe working environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid HR License
  • A Forklift Ticket
  • Hiab Crane experience is desirable

About You

We are looking for someone who is willing to work locally and regionally, and has flexibility to operate machinery. You will be an effective problem solver, able to develop solutions that meet customer needs. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is your ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. A passion for delivering excellent customer service is also crucial.
