About our Critical Care Facility:
Job Overview:The Emergency Department Data Officer is a key role within our healthcare service, responsible for delivering technical advice and high-quality data auditing to meet mandatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- This involves monitoring, reviewing, and improving the quality of health activity data collected in the Emergency Department with the aim of assuring quality health information is reported in line with state-wide and local Key Performance Indicators (KPI) requirements.
- Advanced skills in data analysis, Microsoft Office applications, and ability to quickly develop expertise in other information technology systems and databases would be well regarded.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data management systems and their ability to collect and report health information.
- Well-developed oral and written communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data collection and reporting requirements related to KPIs.
Please note that this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
