**Job Title:** Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing civil projects in accordance with our project management framework and industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Lead and manage the delivery of assigned capital works projects from commencement to completion, including complex, multiple, and concurrent projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholder partnerships, engagement, negotiations, and approvals throughout the project life cycle.
  • Quality Service: Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers to deliver quality places and spaces for our community through project and asset management excellence.
  • Innovation: Champion the use of our project management framework on assigned projects and identify, lead, and implement innovative project value management resulting in cost-effective and solution-based outcomes.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction, architecture, or other related disciplines, or a lesser qualification with substantial knowledge of and experience within the construction industry, building, and civil project management.
  • Experience: Extensive experience within project management, including design, construction, and contractor management.
  • Complex Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple complex and concurrent projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders in a complex public sector environment.
  • Health and Safety: Demonstrated extensive knowledge, skills, and experience with managing and implementing the duties and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
  • Teamwork: Ability to effectively work independently and within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Technical Skills: Advance level of computer proficiency, including project management tools and MS Office applications.
