Job Title: Security Officer

Maintain the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property at a high-profile location.

This role involves conducting regular patrols, monitoring entry points, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the control room.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of CCTV systems and be able to write clear reports.

A professional demeanor and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises remain secure.
  • Monitor and control entry points, verify identification, and conduct security screenings.
  • Accurately document incidents or security breaches.
  • Undertake day-to-day operations of the control room.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities.

Requirements:

  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Current Victorian Security Licence with control room subcategory.
  • Certificate III in Security Operations.
  • Availability to work rotating 24/7 roster.
  • Current Victorian Firearms Licence (or willing to obtain).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • White Card (or willing to obtain).
