Production Manager Job

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our production team and ensure seamless project execution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising direct labor staff, reviewing work performance, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting all quality requirements. They will also coordinate with engineering, purchasing, operations project engineers, quality, and project managers to guarantee project success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise work team in planning and execution of assembly activities
  • Plan resource requirements based on backlog and forecasted workload
  • Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork within the department
  • Address employee performance issues in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies
  • Schedule, allot, and monitor work orders
  • Align with engineering, purchasing, operations project engineers, quality control, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Ensure timeliness, safety, and quality of material movement
  • Develop and implement standard work procedures to improve overall department productivity

Requirements:

  • Heavy mechanical background experience with pumps, motors, process piping, valves, control valves, skid-based units, process skids, instrumentation
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID, ISO, and engineering assembly drawings
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
