Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our business as the Regional Operations Manager.

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Hanson's operations in one of four large regions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

About the Role:
  • Manage a team to best practice standards, focusing on continuous improvement and optimisation of regional logistics fleets.
  • Lead initiatives to resolve regional issues and drive business growth through strategic planning and problem-solving.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the Customer Service Division and regional management teams.
  • Support national customer service initiatives within the regional management team.
  • Own order-taking, allocations, and pre-planning processes for the region within the Customer Service Division.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar industry managing a team, with a strong understanding of concrete operations.
  • Concrete Operations knowledge or related industry experience, including plant processes, batching sequences, delivery processes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills, with expertise in SAP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and relationship management skills, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with good presentation skills.
