**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dispensary Technician to join our team. As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our members and customers with health focused solutions.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for preparing prescriptions efficiently and accurately under the close supervision and guidance of the pharmacist.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing prescriptions with a high level of accuracy
  • Preparing the PBS claim for submission
  • Ordering, receiving, and unpacking dispensary stock
  • Promoting professional services to our customers and members
  • Maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, excellent personal and professional presentation, and be energetic and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

You will also need to have:

  • Previous experience in processing prescriptions
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • The ability to follow direction and work under the supervision of the pharmacist
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
