Job Description:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of food and beverage outlets. This includes managing staff, rostering, customer service, preparation of food, and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant opening and closing procedures
  • Setup of front-of-house and back-of-house areas for daily trade
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and utilization of point-of-sale systems
  • Preparation and presentation of hot and cold food items
  • Leading and coordinating a team of staff members, including allocation of breaks
  • Maintenance of high standards of staff performance, product quality, and service delivery
  • Ensuring adherence to cleaning, maintenance, and preparation schedules on a daily basis
  • Closing procedures, including sales reconciliation and banking
  • Effective execution of functions, special events, and related F&B services, including owner and guest interactions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated success
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate, inspire, train, and develop employees
