Support Care Assistant

Job Description

At Calvary, we strive to provide high-quality care to our clients. As a Support Care Assistant, you will assist clients with daily living activities and provide support services in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting client choice, positive routines, and meaningful activities.
  • Providing personal care and domestic assistance to clients.
  • Assisting clients with medication and meal preparation.
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues.
  • Reviewing communications received via email and other methods to ensure current knowledge of policies, procedures, and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent.
  • A current full driver's license.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles.
