Automotive Mechanic - Fast-Paced Workshop

As a skilled Automotive Mechanic, you will be working in our state-of-the-art workshop in Villawood, NSW. We are looking for experienced professionals to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality vehicles to our customers.

Job Description:

We are seeking individuals with strong mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop environment. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect, repair, and prepare vehicles to meet our stringent quality standards before delivery.

You will be conducting comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and safety inspections, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and more. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance, as well as documenting all work completed for transparency and compliance purposes.

Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless vehicle delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (essential)
  • Solid mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop environment (2-3 years minimum)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Great teamwork and communication skills
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Willingsness to undergo a police and background check
  • Bonus: RWC certification, or auto-electrical experience
