Infinite Consulting is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team as a Splunk Engineer. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension, based on funding and approval.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the overall Splunk architecture, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency in the SIEM.
- Collaborate with the SOC and Cybersecurity team to ensure seamless integration and data quality.
- Onboard new data sources, run queries, and perform data quality assessments to inform SOC requests.
- Investigate and implement technologies to enhance vulnerability analysis and remediation efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in the cybersecurity industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with knowledge of common threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk SOAR.
- Experience with case, incident, and ticket management, as well as ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Atlassian.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- 12-month contract with potential for extension.
- Australian Citizens with current Baseline security clearance.
