About The Role

This is an on-call opportunity requiring flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and nurture young minds. As part of the team, you will work collaboratively to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and families.

  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Facilitate learning experiences for allocated groups of children
  • Assist in observing and evaluating individual strengths, interests, and preferences
  • Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental programs
  • Participate in a collaborative teaching environment
Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged six weeks to six years
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and routines
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
Skills And Requirements

The successful applicant will have:

  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
  • Experience leading and developing age-specific programs and routines
  • A Working with Children Check (State Specific)
  • Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates
