We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
The role involves providing financial support to clients, including preparing financial statements, activity statements, and tax returns.
A key aspect of this role is identifying and managing tax issues, such as Division 7A loans, FBT, CGT events, SBE & depreciation concessions.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for undertaking periodic management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis as required.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Accountant will have the opportunity to develop their leadership capabilities by coaching and motivating junior team members.
About the Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who wants to be a long-term, valued member of our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- CPA/CA knowledge
- Australian taxation legislation and accounting reporting requirements expertise
- Experience assisting with management of a large client portfolio base
- A technical focus and ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
- An ambition to develop as a leader and utilize leadership qualities to mentor junior team members
- An unwavering interest in client service and ability to understand client needs
