Inventory Management Specialist Role

This position plays a vital role in managing the supply and demand of inventory for our client's manufacturing business. Located in Western Australia, this fast-paced environment requires proactive oversight of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the stock control system by ensuring optimal stock levels at all times, foreseeing supply and demand to avoid overstocking and running out of stock.
  • Enter inventory data into the inventory software program in a timely and accurate manner, including stock adjustments and actioning any stock issues or damage.
  • Create purchase orders for incoming stock, equipment, and supplies.
  • Check stock inventory and product arrival against purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of items, verifying receipts and confirming purchase content and orders are complete.
  • Coordinate shipment and freight of outgoing stock.
  • Undertake inventory & stock audits, monitoring quality, discrepancies and ensuring all products are listed in the inventory with correct data.
  • Undertake purchasing of products from suppliers, negotiating prices, tracking shipments and receiving orders.
  • Prepare regular reports as required for the review of the Director, Finance and Sales teams.
  • Carry out ad hoc duties as required.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with internal and external customers. You will work Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 4.30pm, and must have your own reliable transport due to limited public transportation options.
