Waste Manager Leader

The position of Waste Manager and Cleansing Services Leader is a critical role within the organisation. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of waste operations and cleansing services, overseeing major contracts, operational staff, and customer service performance.

The Waste Manager and Cleansing Services Leader will be responsible for:

  • Strategically planning and delivering waste collection, disposal, and cleansing services to meet customer needs.
  • Managing significant contractor relationships and ensuring their performance aligns with organisational goals.
  • Fostering a strong customer service focus across all waste and cleansing functions.
  • Overseeing budget management and operational planning to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Driving continuous improvement and organisational development within the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as environmental science or business administration.
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing industrial workforces.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management capability.
  • Strategic planning skills across operational and environmental functions.
