Amentum is seeking a full-time Custodial Cleaner to join their Logistics team at their office. Reporting to the Logistics supervisor, the role primarily involves providing cleaning services to various facilities, including residential properties.

Responsibilities:

  • General housekeeping duties: Estimated 10% of time.
  • Residential property cleaning: Estimated 60% of time.
  • Assist in the provision of on-the-job training: 5%.
  • Assist in other logistics areas as required: 15%.
  • Use of computer systems for recording and planning tasks: 5%.
  • Other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Essential:

  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Practical experience in custodial/housecleaning/housekeeping.
  • Ability to work professionally with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete tasks.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.

Desirable:

  • Certificates in Hospitality, Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations), or Laundry Operations.

Tickets and Licenses:

Minimum Essential:

  • Current Drivers' License.

Desirable:

  • Certificates III/II/I in relevant fields.

Experience:

  • No previous experience required.

Work Environment and Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Work involves professionally cleaning various houses.
  • Requires a reasonable level of fitness.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and flexibility is essential.
