Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry services for our temporary quarters (TQ) lodging, site-wide facilities, and laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Custodial Tasks: Conduct assigned site custodial tasks across Operations Building, Technical, and Support areas.
  • Laundry Management: Manage laundry facilities duties for TQs.
  • Cleaning Services: Polish floors and steam clean carpets using appropriate custodial equipment.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Maintenance: Dust and remove cobwebs to maintain cleanliness.
  • Waste Disposal: Dispose of rubbish from TQs and designated areas.
  • Supply Management: Maintain necessary supplies in TQs and operational areas.
  • Inventory Control: Inventory management of custodial supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety practices compliance.

Tickets and Licenses

  • Essential: Driver's License.
  • Desirable: CPR, White Card, Working at Heights, Health Safety Representative Training.

Work Environment and Demands

  • Environment: physical demands like lifting (up to 10kgs), kneeling, standing, and walking.
  • Skills: Strong communication, mental alertness, and ability to work under deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
