Life-Changing Communication Specialist

At MedHealth Group, we're one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family.
We help individuals of all ages and abilities achieve their goals by providing life-changing support that improves independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing. Our experienced and dynamic Speech Pathologists work in a range of settings, including clinics and community locations.
Job DescriptionOur team assists individuals with various needs, from early intervention to adult rehabilitation. Successful candidates will provide supports to cover NDIS participants living in the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, and surrounding areas. Our caseloads are mixed, covering areas such as feeding, early language, parent coaching, paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties, and AAC.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver clinically excellent, neuro-affirming practices. You'll have opportunities for career progression, professional development, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities include managing an allocated caseload, delivering timely therapeutic services, and working with diverse populations. Our team offers flexibility, autonomy, and a positive culture that values making a difference in the community.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll require:
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
- Experience leading and supporting others
- A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
- A desire to make a real difference within the community
