Position Overview

The Electrical Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring projects are executed to plan, aligned with operational requirements, and successfully transitioned into ongoing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business positioned for growth and committed to sustainability, safety, and performance.

This position oversees the safe and efficient delivery of electrical projects at our Appin site, monitoring engineering progress, resources, and productivity, and ensuring compliance with Gm³ standards, legislation & industry codes.

  • Monitoring engineering progress, resources, and productivity

  • Managing project risks, handover, and closeout processes
  • Overseeing Dyke equipment maintenance, ensuring both preventive and corrective tasks are completed on schedule to maximize equipment availability targets
  • Providing updates and technical input for project reporting
  • Leading and allocating project crews for optimal outcomes

This role requires experience and capability in delivering projects safely, on-time & within budget, managing and motivating teams in complex operational settings, building strong relationships across multiple stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement and operational integration.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing project plans that align with operational goals
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
