About the Role

The Mailroom Assistant and Data Entry Specialist will work in a fast-paced team environment on a client's site, focusing on efficiently handling and sorting mails to ensure accurate distribution and timely delivery within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Pick up and deliver mail and courier items to various points across multiple sites
  • Prepare mailbags for internal and interstate offices
  • Book and lodge courier services with various companies
  • Handle customer enquiries and respond to incoming calls in the mailroom promptly and professionally
  • Maintain office equipment, supplies, and stationery
  • Perform light cleaning duties
  • Assist with filing and maintaining document files
  • Enter data and perform general administrative tasks
  • May be required to lift heavy packages

To be successful in this role, you should possess a positive attitude and be a highly reliable individual. You should have attention to detail and excellent time management skills, as well as good computer literacy.

Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship at the time of application
  • Previous mailroom experience and ability to work in an office environment
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Capacity to work under pressure to meet stringent service standards
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a hardworking attitude
  • Fitness to lift heavy packages
Salary and Benefits
