Mailroom Assistant and Data Entry Specialist

The Mailroom Assistant and Data Entry Specialist will work in a fast-paced team environment on a client's site, focusing on efficiently handling and sorting mails to ensure accurate distribution and timely delivery within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry
- Sort and distribute mail
- Pick up and deliver mail and courier items to various points across multiple sites
- Prepare mailbags for internal and interstate offices
- Book and lodge courier services with various companies
- Handle customer enquiries and respond to incoming calls in the mailroom promptly and professionally
- Maintain office equipment, supplies, and stationery
- Perform light cleaning duties
- Assist with filing and maintaining document files
- Enter data and perform general administrative tasks
- May be required to lift heavy packages
To be successful in this role, you should possess a positive attitude and be a highly reliable individual. You should have attention to detail and excellent time management skills, as well as good computer literacy.
Requirements- Australian Citizenship at the time of application
- Previous mailroom experience and ability to work in an office environment
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Capacity to work under pressure to meet stringent service standards
- Punctuality, reliability, and a hardworking attitude
- Fitness to lift heavy packages
