We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team.
This role involves driving technical excellence across a range of power system studies using tools like PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Hypersim.
You will bring your expertise in end-to-end grid connection processes, guiding the technical delivery of complex studies and ensuring seamless integration with the grid.
Your experience with generator performance standards and a deep understanding of Schedule 5 of the NER will be key to your success.
About the Role- Lead innovative design and engineering solutions

- Conduct site inspections and deliver cost-effective outcomes
- Deliver high-quality technical work products on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Around 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering complex, high-voltage grid connection projects - ideally across design, build, and commissioning phases
- A strong focus on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ), with a knack for inspiring teams and driving great results - both commercially and for our clients
- Great people skills - you know how to build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and work with customers and senior stakeholders to find the best way forward
- Chartered status with Engineers Australia and RPEQ registration (or you're actively working towards it and keen to get there)
