We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team as a Mathematics Teacher.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires you to be based on the Blacktown campus. You may also be required to work at other campuses within the Western Sydney region.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, including pre-vocational courses, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

You will have demonstrated experience in delivering training and are open minded to learning new skills for online delivery in virtual learning environments. Highly motivated, you can work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders including industry and students.

To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

- Bachelor's degree with minimum of 2 years course work in Mathematics
- Minimum of one-year post-qualification experience in a relevant teaching role
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
- To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly regarded: NESA accreditation and experience teaching in a high school setting. Ability to teach advanced statistics

To be successful in this role, you will need to undertake a national criminal history check and obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance as a condition of employment.

Eligibility list may be created for this position, valid for 18 months, which may be used to fill subsequent positions of the same classification.
