Job Title: Cost Controller

Key Role Overview

This is a high-profile position within our organization that involves leading project cost management for a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will have exceptional analytical and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work closely with operations teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets in coordination with project managers and financial teams.
  • Evaluate change requests and update budgets accordingly.
  • Track and analyze project costs, expenditures, forecasts, and performance to ensure alignment with project objectives and financial targets.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure adherence to financial terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to project cost management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, contractors, and clients, to provide regular updates on project financial performance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in cost control or financial management, preferably within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
