Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering and Energy Solutions team to develop cutting-edge solutions for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage, and renewable energy sources.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement energy solutions that meet the evolving needs of our EV network, including charging infrastructure, energy storage, and renewable energy sources.
  • Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Optimise the performance of our energy and charging solutions by identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the ongoing management and growth of our network, including testing and validation of charger software.
  • Analyse options for new connections and apply site-specific solutions to address connection challenges effectively.
  • Develop automated systems to support operational efficiency and streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher-level qualification in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in engineering or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and communication skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and interest in automation and optimisation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong understanding of data analysis methods and statistics.
  • Mastery of mathematical and financial modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge and interest in EVs and power electronics.
