We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to visit an elderly gentleman in his home. The purpose of this program is to combat loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians.

This initiative aims to provide companionship and social interaction to those who need it most. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

The Role
  • Visit with an older gentleman in his home for approximately one hour each week, engaging in conversations around his hobbies, interests or general topics such as cars and motorbikes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to an elderly client.
  • Engage in activities that promote mental stimulation and cognitive function.
  • Respect the client's privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Covid-19 and Flu vaccination
  • National Police Certificate

Please note that we welcome visitors who can travel outside of the Springbrook area, particularly female visitors. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to make a difference in their community while gaining valuable experience.
