Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse multi-disciplinary projects including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for this position with good communication skills essential for regular client interaction.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
  • Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas.
  • Expertise in functional safety lifecycle documentations specifically the development of LOPA method from the process safety standard.
  • Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
