Production Scheduler Job Description

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining efficient daily and weekly production schedules for lubricant blending, filling, and packaging operations.

This role involves:

  • Creating short-term production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Optimizing production runs to maximize line efficiency.
  • Reviewing inventory levels and ensuring material availability to prevent delays.
  • Managing raw material procurement and resolving any material shortages.
  • Maintaining accurate scheduling records and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in production scheduling or supply chain coordination.
  • A diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and knowledge of supply chain principles.
