Greenpeace Board Director Role

Our organization is seeking two new directors to join our Board. The role of a director is to ensure the integrity and mission of the organization are upheld.

The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, marketing, campaigning, or ecological/science fields. They must be able to commit to our values, display leadership skills, work collaboratively, and speak up with questions.

Selected candidates will participate in at least two board committees/working groups, including the Finance and Audit Committee, Nominations Committee, Philanthropy Working Group, Risk Working Group, Cyber Security Working Group, Generational Vision Working Group, and Indigenous Peoples Advisory Group.

Directors are required to attend at least six board meetings per year, which may include face-to-face meetings. Expenses for in-person meetings will be covered.

Candidates from underrepresented groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Pasifika peoples, People of Colour, women, non-binary individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people living with a disability, are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a voluntary position; however, remuneration can be discussed during the interview process.
