Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading organization in delivering closure-related projects and disciplines. As a Principal Closure Consultant, you will be responsible for establishing closure visions and strategies, delivering technical work, and supporting business development.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mine planning design processes, demonstrated leadership skills, and experience in project management. You will also be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and share knowledge across teams to foster a continuous improvement mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or natural/physical sciences (pre-requisite) and preferably, a post-graduate qualification in a related field.
  • 15 or more years' relevant experience at a Principal capacity, preferably within the consulting sector working on closure strategy development and the technical aspects of closure.
  • Strong understanding of key factors and considerations that influence mine design and closure optionality.
  • Experience in mine planning design processes and demonstrated leadership skills.
