Clinical Trials Coordinator

Macquarie University's world-class Clinical Trials Unit is offering a structured 12-month program for enthusiastic individuals passionate about clinical trials.
The traineeship includes rotations with clinical teams, start-up teams, quality assurance and laboratory teams. You will gain Good Clinical Practice and IATA accreditation and develop basic skills for an entry-level position in clinical trials.
- Accurately filing documents to maintain a clinical trial investigator site file
- Submitting documents for Ethics review
- Drafting preliminary plans for clinical trials
- Processing and shipping clinical trial samples
- Preparing clinic lists and preparing for patient visits
- Collecting blood from patients under direct supervision
- Collecting and recording vital signs and ECGs on patients
- Collecting and accurately recording concomitant medications and adverse events
- Completing data entry for patient visits and addressing database queries
- Reviewing clinical trials records for inspection readiness
