OSHC Service Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and the ability to lead a team of educators. As an OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating engaging programs that meet the needs of local families. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to mentor and support staff, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development

Create innovative programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, utilizing industry-leading tools to ensure a fun and educational experience.

Mentorship and Support

Develop and implement strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the service.

Relationship Building

Cultivate positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community, ensuring open communication and transparency at all times.

Rostering and Administration

Effectively manage the daily operations of your service, including rostering and administrative tasks, with the support of your Area Manager.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure the highest standards of compliance are maintained, managing relevant documents and procedures to guarantee the smooth operation of your service.

Requirements:

  • A completed or current ACECQA recognised qualification, such as studies in teaching, childcare, or community services.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children's Check for the relevant state.
  • Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting certification.
  • A National Criminal History Check is also required.
