Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support Worker to join our team on the Central Coast. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, client-centered case management services to families affected by violence and abuse.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position based in Tuggerah, with regular travel across the Central Coast. The Support Worker will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualized plans to improve their safety and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive case management services to support families
  • Deliver group facilitation on family education
  • Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders and community groups
  • Maintain accurate records and information sharing consistent with legislation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in case management working with victims of domestic violence
  • Understanding of NSW Human Services Outcomes Framework
  • Solid knowledge of parenting programs and ability to facilitate such programs
  • Demonstrated practice experience relating to current Child Protection and DFV legislation
