We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Engineering Specialist.

About the Role
  • This position is responsible for translating user requirements into technical specifications and designing, developing, testing, and implementing scalable software and data applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement scalable software and data applications on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party applications and services.
  • Build, optimise, and maintain database structures using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • More than two years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL.
  • Exposure with ETL tools like Snowflake, Databricks, and Informatica is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of database systems and SQL.
