Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Physiotherapist to lead our clinical education and physiotherapy services in an acute inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical expertise and a passion for education and leadership within acute physiotherapy services, enabling them to deliver exceptional care and drive service improvement initiatives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based physiotherapy clinical services and education, leading service development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care and education to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and service delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and students, promoting their growth and development within the organisation.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience delivering physiotherapy care in acute inpatient settings.
  • A proven track record of leadership and education, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to drive service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands to achieve optimal outcomes.
